ANOKA — Brainerd Warriors dance notched two second place finishes in both jazz and kick Monday, Jan. 18, at the Anoka invite.

Anoka swept the invite with Brainerd being five points behind in the kick and seven points behind in the jazz.

"We felt like we danced better than Saturday,” Warriors head coach Cindy Clough said. “We are disappointed in our finish as Anoka is always a rival of ours. We were so close but fell short of a win. It is challenging with COVID as we do not get to watch our competitors so we don't get a read as to how we will end up. We do get to see the video and can analyze it that way.”

Brainerd’s next meet is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23 at Blaine.
