The Brainerd Warrior dance team will host a mega invitational Saturday, Dec 1, at Brainerd High School.
The meet theme is "New York, New York." This is an event Brainerd trades off hosting with Chaska every other year.
In addition to the Warriors, Class 3A teams competing will be Moorhead, Wayzata, Mounds View, Irondale, Eastview, Lakeville South, Sauk Rapids, East Ridge, Eden Prairie, Chaska, Chanhassen, Spring Lake Park and Wayzata.
Class 1A and 2A teams competing include Crosby-Ironton, Aitkin, Pequot Lakes, Duluth Denfeld, Pierz, and Pine River-Backus.
"It will be a challenging meet as many of the top teams will be here," Warriors head coach Cindy Clough said. "We are excited to have so many great teams traveling to Brainerd."

Doors open to the public at 9:15 a.m.
Class 3A varsity competition begins at 10 a.m. and awards at 12:20 p.m.
Class 3A junior varsity and B squad competition begins at 12:50 p.m. and awards at 3:50 p.m.
Class 1A/2A JV and varsity competition begins at 4:20 p.m. with awards at 6:20 p.m.
