Dance Team: Warriors win jazz, 2nd in kick

ANOKA — The Brainerd Warriors secured a first and a second Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Anoka Invite.

Brainerd won the jazz division and placed second in kick behind host Anoka.

“Hopkins, which finished third, had a fall that resulted in a deduction or we would have won,” Brainerd head coach Cindy Clough said. “I thought we had a better performance Saturday at Anoka than we did Friday in our Central Lakes Conference meet so we’re excited about that.”

Brainerd will next compete in the Wayzata Invite Saturday, Jan. 18.
