CO Thomas Sutherland (Grand Rapids) worked angling activity over the past week. CO Sutherland took enforcement action for possessing multiple walleyes from within the protected slot, angling after being revoked from angling in Minnesota and fishing with more than one line.

CO Randy Patten (Northome) checked anglers and boaters, investigated a wolf complaint, and looked into several calls on dead birds. Enforcement action taken for an over limit of fish, illegal length fish, and no skin patch left on fillets.

CO Jayson Hansen (Bigfork) checked anglers, and boaters. He patrolled area campgrounds and areas of ATV activity. Violations included no license in possession, over-limit, and take protected slot fish. 

CO Mike Fairbanks (Deer River) checked anglers, monitored OHV activity, attended K-9 training, handled nuisance animal complaints and assisted the county with a vehicle accident. The much needed rain brought the area water levels up. Compliance was good.

CO Sarah Sindelir (Grand Rapids) finished working on a trespassing case and also checked anglers. She worked invasive species enforcement at public accesses. Enforcement action was taken for trespassing violations.

CO Gary Lefebvre (Pengilly) worked fishermen, watercraft, state parks and campgrounds. He also handled fishing and litter complaints during the week.

CO Shawn Wichmann (Hill City) spent the week working fishing and ATV activity. A complaint was received about an ATV operating in closed areas. CO Wichmann also took a wolf depredation complaint. 

CO John Velsvaag (NE Region ATV Officer) worked ATV complaint areas. CO Velsvaag also worked OHM enforcement.
