Following a COVID-19 positive test on the Brainerd Warriors football team, the team has canceled its game Thursday, Nov. 12, against the Sartell Sabres and ended its 2020 season.
In an email sent to Warrior football parents, Brainerd head coach Jason Freed stated they found out about the COVID-19 positive test Thursday and he was meeting with the team later in the afternoon via Google Meet.
Freed also stated he would be submitting names to the district of the players who were on the bus last week with the positive test.
The Warriors finish their season with a 1-3 record.
