Girls Basketball: 12 players make all-area second team

Twelve area girls landed on the Brainerd Dispatch All-Area second team.

The Crosby-Ironton Rangers, Pequot Lakes Patriots, Pierz Pioneers, Pine River-Backus all made their respective section semifinals.

Ally Ehnstrom, Aitkin

Senior, guard

Finished with 201 points (11.2 per game), 133 rebounds (7.4 per game), 59 assists (3.3 per game) and 23 steals. She shot 32% (66-208) from the field, 26% (35-136) from 3-point and 70% (26-37) from the free throw line.

Meghan Smith, Brainerd

Tori Plemel, Lake Region
