Girls Basketball: 12 players make all-area second team

All-Area 2nd team annouced.

Twelve area girls landed on the Brainerd Dispatch All-Area second team.

The Crosby-Ironton Rangers, Pequot Lakes Patriots, Pierz Pioneers, Pine River-Backus all made their respective section semifinals.

Ally Ehnstrom, Aitkin

Senior, guard

Meghan Smith, Brainerd
