The Brainerd seventh-grade girls basketball team finished seventh in the June 24-25 Pacesetter Great Four State tournament at Maple Grove and Target Center in Minneapolis.
Brainerd qualified for the tournament after finishing third in the Minnesota tournament.
Brainerd lost to eventual state champion Bismarck Thunder 40-20 and then defeated Stewartville 23-13 and Central Lee, Iowa, 26-13 at Target Center.
The team is Chloe Pecarich, Tae Evanston, Afton Crocker, Kate Bolz-Andolshek, Alley Brzezinski, Abbi Bohlen and Kerra Stinar and is coached by Sandy McKenzie and Matt Pecarich.
