Girls Basketball: Heurung scores 38 but Warriors lose fourth in row

SAUK RAPIDS--Kylee Heurung scored 38 points, two shy of the school record, but the Brainerd Warriors were defeated by the Sauk Rapids Storm 66-60 in Central Lakes Conference play Friday.

Shelly Breen set the school record Feb. 9, 1990, with a 40-point effort against St. Cloud Tech.

Heurung finished 11 of 24 from the field including 5 of 11 from behind the arc. She netted 11 of 12 free throws and grabbed nine rebounds. No other player scored more than seven points for Brainerd which has lost four consecutive games.
