Girls Basketball: Smith’s 31 propels Brainerd to a win over Apollo

ST. CLOUD — Meghan Smith scored a career-high 31 points and the Brainerd Warriors shot 45% from the field in a 62-49 win over St. Cloud Apollo Thursday, March 11.

The Warriors swept the season series from the Eagles winning 62-41 Feb. 4 and Brainerd improved to 9-5 in conference play.

Myah Nelson hit for 10 points. Defensively, the Warriors held the Eagles to 36% shooting.
