The Central Lakes Thunder eighth grade AAU team finished eighth in the AAU State Championships May 19-20 in Bloomington.
The Thunder won the 10th-annual AAU Spring Showdown a few weeks ago in Bloomington.
The team is : Sydnie Wgeishofski-Peqout Lakes (front, left), Blair Tschida-Royalton, Carly Chaney-Peqout Lakes, Lela Peterson-Menahga, Madison Schmitz-Verndale, Megan Riedel-NYMills (back, left), Lexi McElfresh-Brainerd, Ellie Flaws-Peqout Lakes, Kris Biniek-Upsula, Autumn Schoenrock-Royalton and coach Melissa Chaney.
