Girls Basketball: Warriors fall to Knights in quarterfinals

The Brainerd Warriors traveled to St. Michael-Albertville for the Section 8-4A quarterfinals

ST. MICHAEL โ€” Brainerdโ€™s Kate Stadum tallied 11 points for the No. 6 seeded Brainerd Warriors as they fell 62-41 to the No. 3 Seeded St. Michael-Albertville Knights in the Section 8-4A quarterfinals Thursday, March 18.

Myah Nelson added 10 points for the Warriors and Emma Tautges recorded five rebounds.

โ€œI am so proud of this team,โ€ Warriors head coach Troy Nelson. โ€œThey competed day in and day out and showed a ton of grit. It was a tough game tonight, but we never backed down and had a really good second half. I thought we had a great season and I will really miss this group of seniors.โ€

The Warriors end their season 13-6.
