Girls Basketball: Warriors fall to Knights in quarterfinals

The Brainerd Warriors traveled to St. Michael-Albertville for the Section 8-4A quarterfinals

ST. MICHAEL — Brainerd’s Kate Stadum tallied 11 points for the No. 6 seeded Brainerd Warriors as they fell 62-41 to the No. 3 Seeded St. Michael-Albertville Knights in the Section 8-4A quarterfinals Thursday, March 18.

Myah Nelson added 10 points for the Warriors and Emma Tautges recorded five rebounds.

“I am so proud of this team,” Warriors head coach Troy Nelson. “They competed day in and day out and showed a ton of grit. It was a tough game tonight, but we never backed down and had a really good second half. I thought we had a great season and I will really miss this group of seniors.”

The Warriors end their season 13-6.
