LITTLE FALLS-Regan McElfresh scored a game-high 17 points for Brainerd in a 74-34 non-conference win over Little Falls Thursday.

Kylee Heurung followed with 14 points for the Warriors who built a 56-15 halftime lead and improved to 15-8 overall.

"The girls came out and played with great energy and desire right from the opening tip," Warriors coach Troy Nelson said. "We did a good job pressuring on defense and were able to speed up the pace of the game to where we like it.

"We did a wonderful job with our ball movement and knocked down a lot of in-rhythm shots. Hopefully we can come to play (Friday) night with the same focus and energy."

The Flyers, who entered the game having lost 11 of their last 12 games, were led by Sophia Sowada's 15 points.
