ZIMMERMAN-Lilly Horn pumped in 15 points as the Brainerd Warriors defeated the Zimmerman Thunder 46-44 in non-conference game Saturday, Jan 5.
Olivia Tauges contributed nine points and six rebounds as the Warriors improve to 4-8 overall.
"We got a much-needed win (Saturday)," Warriors head coach Troy Nelson said. "We didn't play our best game, but stuck with it and pulled out the win at the end.
"Olivia Tautges hit a 3 with 17 seconds left to give us a 45-44 lead and Courtney Russell added a free throw with 5.1 seconds left for the final score.
