ST. CLOUD - Kylee Heurung tallied 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocked shots to lead the Brainerd Warriors to a 67-41 Central Lakes Conference victory over St. Cloud Apollo Monday.
Jenna Degen finished with 16 points and six assists and Brainerd finished with more assists than turnovers 17-14.
"We shared the ball really well tonight," said Brainerd head coach Troy Nelson. "We had 17 assists on 23 made shots. We also came out with great energy and jumped out to a big lead early. We talked with the girls about building to the playoffs, and this game was another good step."
Katy Johnson posted 13 points and nine rebounds for Brainerd, which secured the season sweep of Apollo. Brainerd beat the Eagles 63-35 Jan. 16.
