COLD SPRING - Brainerd's Hannah Moen tied for second with an 80 and helped the Warriors to third place in a Central Lakes Conference meet Monday at Rich-Spring Golf Course.

Moen, Nikki Torgerson of St. Cloud Apollo and Natalie Amundson of Alexandria all shot 80. Moen stands fourth in the conference after four of six CLC meets.

"Hannah played an excellent round today in some horrid conditions," Warriors coach Todd Person said. "With the exception of a lone 3-putt on a rain-soaked green, she struck the ball solid all day, opening her round with a 1-over-37."

Brainerd's other scorers were Emily Aga 87, CJ Kendall 90 and Julia Wallace 92. Aga is 11th in the conference standings and Wallace 13th.

"The conditions continued to get worse as the wind and rain picked up but with that Emily Aga's game did the same," Person said. "She shot a 41 on her back nine and as Hannah did, she limited her round to one 3-putt. After some solid rounds on the JV team, senior CJ Kendall had a breakthrough day with a 90. CJ has a lot of athletic skills and finally put a full 18-hole round together.
