RICE-Julia Wallace carded an 85 to tie for second and the Brainerd Warriors were third in the third Central Lakes Conference meet of the season at Oak Hill Golf Club.
Emily Aga's 87 tied her for fourth. Rounding out Brainerd's scoring were Abby Pohlkam's 94 and Rachel Cleveland's 97.
"Abby Pohlkamp played very well today posting back-to-back 47's for her first round under 100," said Brainerd head coach Todd Person. "I think she has potential to drop at least another 10 shots on that by the end of the season.
"Emily Aga also continues to improve and after a rough start of 7-over on her first three holes, she pulled it together settling down playing the next 15 at 8 over par. Rachel Cleveland came in with a 97, which is her best round of the season along with Julia Wallace's 85.
"We're looking forward to a day at the practice range tomorrow with the Staples Invite at the Legacy on Saturday."
