MOORHEAD-Goalie Olivia King stopped 10 of the 11 shots she faced as Class 2A's seventh-ranked Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors snapped a two-game losing streaking by defeating the Moorhead Spuds 3-1 in a Section 8-2A matchup Thursday, Jan. 31.
Josie Kramer, Abby Pohlkamp and Cheyenne Abear netted goals for the Warriors who outshot Moorhead 37-11.
The Warriors are 19-4-1 and own an 11-1 record against section teams while the Spuds are 2-18-3 overall, 0-9-1 against section teams.
Brainerd beat Moorhead 13-0 Dec. 4.
