ALEXANDRIA — Brynne Folden’s unassisted third-period goal turned out to be the game-winner as Class 2A’s 11th-ranked Brainerd/Little Falls topped the Alexandria Cardinals 2-1 Thursday, Feb. 11, in a Central Lakes Conference game.
Macy Peterson netted a goal in the second period on assists from Lucy Peterson and Molly Pohlkamp.
Breya Sawyer secured 17 saves to help Brainerd to a 5-2 victory
