Peyton LeMieur and Emma Booth netted goals for the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors who battled to a 2-2 overtime tie with the Alexandria Cardinals in a Central Lakes Conference and Section 8-2A game Thursday, March 11, at Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd.
LeMieur and Booth put BLF up 2-0 in the first before Alex countered single goals in the second and third periods.
The Warriors outshot Alex 41-27 with Breya Sawyer recording 25 saves.
Brainerd entered the contest second in the Section 8-2A standings. Alexandria was third in the section standings with a 7-1-1 record and a No. 20 QRF.
Brainerd beat Alexandria 2-1 Feb. 11. Alexandria had won seven straight.
