Girls Hockey: Warriors rally for OT win over Sartell

SARTELL — Josie Kramer punched in the winning score with an assist from Sophie Robinson in overtime for the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors who came from behind to defeat the Sartell/Sauk Rapids Stormin’ Sabres 3-1 Thursday, Dec. 12 in a Central Lakes Conference matchup.

Sartell scored two goals 33 seconds apart midway through the second period for a 2-0 lead.

Gabbie Smith got the Warriors on the board less than two minutes into the third with an assist from Kramer. Seventy-nine seconds later, Smith assisted on a Brynne Folden goal to knot the score.

The Warriors outshot Sartell/SR 40-18 including 22-0 in the third and overtime periods. Freshman goalie Emily Johnson recorded 16 saves for the Warriors.
