Girls Hockey: Warriors shutout Icebreakers for win

ST. CLOUD — First-period goals from Peyton Lemieur and Gabbie Smith, and a shutout from Emily Johnson led the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors to a 2-0 win over the St. Cloud Icebreakers Saturday, Jan 4.

Lemieur’s goal came at the 1:30 mark of the first half on an assist from Lindsey Booth. Smith followed her with a goal nine minutes later on an assist from Sophie Robinson.

That would be all the Warriors would need as goaltender Emily Johnson stopped all 14 shots that she faced.
