Girls Hockey: Warriors strike down Lightning

EDINA — Gabbie Smith netted two goals for the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors in a 5-1 win over the Grand Rapids/Greenway Lightning Friday, Dec. 27, in the Edina Walser Tournament.

The Warriors defeated GRG 3-1 in Brainerd Friday, Dec. 20.

Shaylee Stroot and Georgi Aus each contributed a goal with one assist to push BLF’s record to 10-4 overall. Sophie Robinson added the other goal.

Warrior goalie Breya Sawyer collected 17 saves.
