Girls Hockey: Warriors winning streak snapped by Stars

PAYNESVILLE — Breya Sawyer made 16 saves, but Class 2A’s 10th-ranked Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors couldn’t find the back of the net in a 2-0 Central Lakes Conference loss to the River Lakes Stars Thursday, Feb. 25.

The Stars swept the season series with BLF as River Lakes won the first match up 2-1 Jan. 21.

The loss snaps BLF’s seven-game winning streak.
