ST. MICHAEL-Regan McElfresh scored the only goal for the No. 3 seeded Brainerd Warriors as they ended their season Saturday with a 5-1 loss to the St. Michael-Albertville Knights in the Section 8-2A semifinals.
McElfresh scored immediately in the second half to cut into St. Michael-Albertville's 3-0 halftime edge.
Goalkeeper Molly Rudolph made four saves and Shayla Makowski-Budrow tallied six saves for the Warriors.
Brainerd finishes its season 14-3.
