Josie Kramer scored the only goal of the game in overtime to give the Brainerd Warriors a 1-0 win over the Bemidji Lumberjacks in a non-conference game Saturday, Sept. 22 at Adamson Field in Brainerd.
Mari Devine was credited with an assist on the goal.
"Josie Kramer had a great individual effort to win it in the first OT dribbling past four Bemidji players and scoring one-on-one against the keeper," said Brainerd head coach Grant Gmeinder. "Molly Rudolph was great in net and came up big whenever we needed her."
Brainerd outshot the Lumberjacks 12-8 and have won eight straight since a season-opening 3-0 loss to Rogers.
"We played a great game today, playing our sixth game in the last two weeks," said Gmeinder. "Bemidji is a very good team and we had to earn a hard fought win in OT."
