Gabby Eckman scored the go-ahead goal for the Brainerd Warriors in their 5-2 victory over the Moorhead Spuds Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Brainerd High School.
Lexi McElfresh assisted on that goal and added another assist for the Warriors, who scored four unanswered goals in the second half. Five different Warriors scored in the night
Avery LeMieur added a first-half goal for the Warriors to get them started in the score column.
Emma Shelfo, Paige Yeager and Emma Balsley all added second-half goals. The Warriors outshot Moorhead 21-6 with Peyton LeMieur notching five saves.
