Taylor Larson’s shot with eight seconds left in the second half hit the crossbar and bounced away and the Brainerd Warriors and Alexandria Cardinals played to a scoreless tie in a Central Lakes Conference match Thursday, Oct. 8 in Brainerd.
Peyton LeMieur stopped all four shots that she faced in net.
Despite the tie the Warriors clinched the conference title with a record of 8-0-1, playing in their first game since returning from a two-week break.
