Megan Tschida registered her fourth shutout in five games for the Brainerd Warriors who closed out their regular season with a 4-0 win over the Sartell Sabres in a Central Lakes Conference game Monday night at Adamson Field.
It was the 15th consecutive win for the CLC champion Warriors after a season-opening 4-0 loss Aug. 27 to Section 8-2A foe Rogers.
Ally Smith finished with a pair of second-half goals and an assist. Haley Beavers opened the scoring and Brainerd led 2-0 at the half after an own goal off the head of a Sartell defender on a cross by Lexi Roby.
The Warriors outshot the Sabres 16-1.
"What an amazing group of young women and an amazing accomplishment this season to win 15 in a row," said Brainerd coach Grant Gmeinder. "And the way they did it - most of those games were pretty decisive."
