Girls Soccer: Warriors, LeMieur shutout Alex

Emma Balsley scored at the 7:35 mark of the first half and it turned out to be the game-winner as the Brainerd Warriors blanked the Alexandria Cardinals 2-0 Thursday, Sept. 23, at Brainerd High School.

Avery LeMieur assisted on the first-half goal. Gretchen Paysse added an insurance score on a penalty kick in the second half.

Peyton LeMieur gathered six saves for the clean sheet.
