Girls Swimming and Diving: Flyers runners-up in Granite Ridge Conference

BECKER--Alice Foote won two individual events and swam on a winning relay for the Little Falls Flyers who finished second behind Foley in the Granite Ridge Conference Championships Saturday.

BECKER-Alice Foote won two individual events and swam on a winning relay for the Little Falls Flyers who finished second behind Foley in the Granite Ridge Conference Championships Saturday.

Foote turned in the fastest times in the 200-yard freestyle and 100 backsgtroke and teamed up with Hannah Jones, Katie Corbett and Rachel Josephson to win the 200 medley relay.

The top two individuals and winning relays received all-conference honors with honorable mention going to the third- and fourth-place individuals and second-place relays.

Josephson outswam the field in the 50 free and finished third in the 100 free. Jones received honorable mention for her fourth-place showing in the 100 breaststroke.

The Flyers' 400 free relay (Josephson, Corbett, Rachel Pusc and Foote) finished second for honorable mention.
