FERGUS FALLS - Fallon Ryan touched first in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke and swam on two winning relays as the Brainerd Warriors bounced back from their only loss of the season to outswim the Fergus Falls Otters 125-57 in a Central Lakes Conference meet Thursday.
The Warriors are 5-1 in the CLC, 6-1 overall. Their only loss was Sept. 18 to Class 1A's second-ranked and unbeaten Sartell Sept. 18.
"We mixed it up and put some kids in different events," said Warrior head coach Dan Anderson. "We even messed up the relays. Fergus is a pretty young team so we gave everyone the night off from their nomal events."
Ryan joined Hannah McKeag and Allison Crum on the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams. Kylie Lange completed the 200 medley team and Julia Wallace rounded out the 400 free.
McKeag topped the podium for the 100 freestyle and picked up her third relay win in the 200 freestyle with Reilly Peterson, Julia Wallace and Katie Streiff.

Other individual winners were Peterson in the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly and Streiff in the 200 freestyle.
"Reilly won both of her races with nice times," said Anderson. "She swam a season best in the IM for her and that was only her second time swimming the 100 butterfly. She had two nice times and wasn't really pushed in either race."
Helena Wise picked up her first varsity victory in the 500 freestyle.
The only events lost by Brainerd were the 100 breaststroke and the one meter diving where Cami Harmer placed second with 210.35 points.
"I thought all of our divers dove well tonight," Anderson said.
