MOORHEAD - Payge Fitterer improved to 16-6 Saturday and Kiera Schweitzberger continued her solid play after being promoted to varsity.
The two Brainerd Warriors went 2-0 during the Moorhead triangular as did Brainerd, which beat East Grand Forks 5-2 and Moorhead 6-1.
All three Warriors doubles teams finished 2-0. Brooke Mimmack and Ashley Fitterer improved to 17-3 at No. 1 doubles. Jenna Swenson and Kennedy Rusk jumped to 15-3 at No. 2 doubles and the team of Megan Wroolie and Britney Fletcher moved to 7-2 at No. 3 doubles.
"Our entire team competed well (Saturday)," said Brained head coach Lisa Salo. "We are pushing each athlete at practice to transfer the skills and strategies we target into match play and that is happening. We had two solid team wins today after a very competitive week."
Brainerd junior varsity players swept all of their match. Winning for Brainerd were Maria Bell, Sydney Stock, Taya Person, Madi Exsted, Nicole Rud, Hannah Rud, Jaycie Hinrichs, Mikaela Maki, Elizabeth Eigen, Macey Peterson, Hannah Trtanj, Audrey Collins, Amber Britton, Lily Plested, Emily Moore, Bernadette Gloggengiesser, Victoria Vesely, Amanda Rahto, Eva Dabill, Megan Hensel, Sandra Chuey, Katelyn Tix and Megan Doran.

Tuesday's Central Lakes Conference match against Rocori will also be the Fill the Hill event where all spectators will receive a free bag of popcorn.
