Girls Tennis: Warriors score a sweep of Storm

Brainerd hosted Sauk Rapids for a Central Lakes Conference clash.

Lacy Busch didn’t drop a game in the No.4 singles slot winning 6-0, 6-0 to help the Brainerd Warriors to a 7-0 Central Lakes Conference victory over Sauk Rapids Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Brainerd High School.

Taylor Ruhl won her match 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, while Brynne Folden and Lila Collins won their No.1 doubles match 6-0, 6-1.

Winning doubles matches for the Brainerd junior varsity team were Avery Anakkala-Hannah Hayes, Lauren Kline-Lydia Olson, Paige Beyer-Olivia Dehning, Reese Glynn-Lauren Castle, Sophie Schamber-Nola Doty, Taylor Harrington-Rilee Borders, Jasmine Patnoe-Kaya Anderson, Sophie Karsnia-Corryn Eberhart and Abi Neelan-Eva Zernov-Stella Lundberg.

Singles winners for the JV team were Ellie Brown, Brooke Mulholland, Olivia Orlowski and Lily Knoepke.
