NISSWA-Payge Fitterer of the Brainerd Warriors finished 3-0 at No. 1 singles during the Warrior Invitational at Camp Lake Hubert Monday.

Brainerd swept Virginia and Thief River Falls 7-0 and knocked off East Ridge 5-2.

"Payge remained composed even in the third set tiebreaker," said Brainerd head coach Lisa Salo. "Her maturity, experience and drive really showed in all of her matches today."

Kate Kurtzman also went 3-0 at No. 3 singles by sweeping every match 6-0, which helped Brainerd finish 3-0 for the invitational.

Brainerd junior varsity singles winners were Audrey Collins 1-0. Doubles winners were Macey Peterson-Jaycie Hindrichs 1-0, Chloe Pecarich-Allyson Goeden 1-0 and Amber Britton-Katherine Chausse 1-0.
