ST. CLOUD — The doubles team of Lily Jones and Kate Chaussee won in No. 1 doubles 6-2, 6-2 in the Brainerd Warriors 6-1 win over the St. Cloud Tech Tigers Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Lindsy Busch didn’t drop a set at No. 4 singles and Taylor Ruhl won at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-1.
In No. 3 doubles, the team of Chloe Pecarich and Lila Collins defeated their opponent 6-0, 6-1.
"We were excited to kick in with our schedule today,” Warriors head coach Lisa Salo said. “Tech did a nice job of hosting our first match with all of the required safety protocols. We had rehearsed these at practice as did Tech, and the athletes, coaches and spectators were comfortable with everything. The weather was extremely hot and humid, but the girls were prepared for that and handled it."
