WADENA - Wadena's Blake Herron scored a decision over Isuf Thadnjl of Moorhead at 138 pounds in the main event during the opening card of the season Saturday night at the Wadena Armory.

Wadena's Kevin Harper (122 pounds) lost to Chaz Roper of Leech Lake.

At 162, Rayne Denzel of Wadena won a decision against Jackson Knapp of St. Cloud.

Ry Denzel of Wadena decisioned Bryce Devgak of Hibbing at 170.

Ronnie Hullett, Leech Lake, decisioned Matt Umland of Verndale.

Steve Roth of Wadena, time keeper for 33 years, was honored. Roth was also the chief timekeeper for the Minnesota Boxing the last several years.

Next card at Wadena will be 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10.
