The Region 4 Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament is scheduled this weekend at the Wadena Armory.
Semifinals and Class B championships are at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Class B and Class A championships will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Boxers from Brainerd, Wadena, St. Cloud, Red Lake, Leech Lake, Moorhead, Cloquet, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls and Central Minnesota Boxing will compete.
Wadena Class A entries include Blake Herron (141 pounds), Ry Denzel (165), Trent Petro (178) and Preston Eagletail (heavyweight).
Class A champions advance to the Upper Midwest Championships at 7 p.m. April 23 and 1 p.m. April 24 at Northern Lights Casino in Walker.

All 4-state winners advance to the national tournament May 15-22 at Salt Lake City.
