WALKER - Wadena Class A boxers Trent Petro and Blake Herron lost decisions in the finals of the Upper Midwest Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament at Northern Lights Casino last weekend.
Petro (178 pounds) lost to Xavier Hayden of Minneapolis.
Herron (132) lost to Nchatxu Vang of St. Paul. Herron was awarded the tournament's sportsmanship trophy.
In a non-tournament bout, Wadena's T.J. Steward scored a decision over Casey Wallace of Minneapolis.
