Wadena won the team title and three of its boxers captured Class A titles in the Region 4 Box-Off Tournament last weekend at the Wadena Armory.
Class A champions from Wadena included Blake Herron (132 pounds), Trent Petro (165) and Preston Eagletail (heayvweight).
Additional Class A champions were Charles Oothoudt, 141, Leech Lake; Oscar Arreola, 152, Cloquet; Collin Frie, 178, St. Cloud; and Lorenzo Cordona, superheavyweight, Moorhead.
Angel Pacheco, unattached, won the fightingest fighter award, Arreolo earned best boxer honors and Robbie Sheets, St. Cloud, won the sportsmanship award.
Region champions advance to the Upper Midwest Tournament next weekend at Northern Lights Casino in Walker. Bouts start at 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
