Gymnastics: Brainerd leaves Willmar with a CLC victory

The Brainerd Warriors traveled to Willmar for a Central Lakes Conference dual.

WILLMAR — Brenna Deason captured first-place finishes on the vault and floor to also win the all-around and lead the Brainerd Warriors to a 136.625-125.675 Central Lakes Conference victory over the Willmar Cardinals Thursday, Dec. 23.

Josie Harguth won the balance beam with a 9.15. Followed by Annika Schroeder in second, Evi Helsene in third and Deason in fourth.

Deason scored a 9.425 on vault and won the floor with a 9.2.

Kami Peterson placed third in the all-around with a 32.225.

Sophia White was the top Warrior on bars with a second-place 8.225.
