BEMIDJI-Millie Klefsaas is advancing to the Class 2A state meet in four events after finishing with two firsts, a third and a fourth-place at the Section 8-2A meet Friday.
Jaelyn Kappes also advances to state as she was co-champion on vault with a 9.475.
The top four individuals qualify in each event.
Klefsaas won the all-around with a 37.325. That score came from a first on floor, a third on beam, a fourth on bars and a sixth on vault. She tied for second on the beam, but dropped to third on the tie breaker.
As a team, Brainerd placed second with a 143.275 behind St. Cloud Tech's 147.125.
