ST. MICHAEL - Millie Klefsaas qualified for state on balance beam and the all-around, taking third in both events, leading the Brainerd Warriors to second at the Section 8-2A meet Saturday.
"It was a good meet for us," said Brainerd head coach Dave Maras. "We started out slow, but really finished out strong on floor. It was a nice finish."
Klefsaas scored a 35.9 on the all-around and a 9.1 on beam.
Brainerd landed four girls in the top 11 on floor, led by Klefsaas' fifth-place 9.35, helping it trail only St. Cloud Tech in the finals standings.
