FERGUS FALLS-Brainerd's Millie Klefsaas posted a second-place 9.525 vault in Saturday's Central Lakes Conference championship to claim the season title.
Klefsaas, who also finished the season standings second on floor, fourth on bars, fifth beam and third in the all-around led the Warriors to third place in the final conference standings.
On Saturday on vault, Jaelyn Kappes finished fourth in the meet with a 9.5 and Jaelyn King was sixth with a 9.35. That helped Kappes to an all-conference fifth-place finish. King placed 10th in the final conference standings for honorable mention.
King was fourth in Saturday's beam rotation with a 9.025. That placed her seventh in the final standings.
On Bars, Hannah Dahlberg was sixth Saturday with a 9.275 and Kappes finished ninth with a 9.2.

Kenna Smith scored a 9.35 to place fifth on floor Saturday. Klefsaas posted a 9.275 for seventh.
"We started on beam and unfortunately it beat us up pretty good," said Warriors head coach Seth Helland. "We had to fight back and felt pretty good about hitting all of our floor passes and nailing some huge vaults, along with our first 4 bar kids all hitting their routines as well.
"We are excited to have Kianna back practicing with us as we prep for sections, she was injured the majority of the season, and our goal is to get all of our kids feeling as healthy and prepared as we can. They showed that they can fight through some adversity is we did experience a bit on Saturday, but those things can happen on any given day and all you can do is keep fighting. We are looking forward to Friday."
