Gymnastics: Sedlachek named MVP

The Brainerd Warriors gymnastics team held their postseason banquet.

Maddy Sedlachek was named the Brainerd Warriors gymnastics team’s Most Valuable Player at the team’s end-of-season banquet.

Lauren Castle was named Rookie of the Year. Kami Peterson earned Most Improved honors.

Ella Hannah and Josie Harguth were awarded Team Spirit winners. Harguth was also named the Pacesetter winner.

Olivia Stirewalt was named Mama Bear and Elle Bruggeman won the True Grit award.

The Most Graceful Faller award went to Kenna Smith.


The Warriors finished with 22 varsity letterwinners, which is a new program record.

Next year’s captains will be Haley Jones, Kami Peterson, Rachel Moore and Taylor Bordwell.
