High School Football: Cardinals fly past Flyers

ANNANDALE — Nathaniel Kludt returned a fumble for a score and Louis Sobiech rushed for a touchdown but Little Falls was unable to stop the Annandale Cardinals running game in a 46-15 loss for the Flyers Thursday, Oct. 15.

The Cardinals rushed for the first score of the game, but Dane Couture’s 32-yard second-quarter field goal pulled the Flyers to 6-3. Later in the half, after an Annandale touchdown, a 55-yard touchdown run from Nathaniel Kludt made the halftime score 14-9 in favor of Annandale.

Louis Sobiech’s 2-yard plunge was the last score of the game for Little Falls.

Flyers quarterback Austin Neu threw for 108 yards and Matt Filippi rushed 14 times for 72 yards.
