ST. CLOUD-A two-point conversion run by Isaiah Sloan in overtime was the difference for the Little Falls Flyers who picked up their first win of the season, 28-26 over the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders in an East Central North Subdistrict game Friday, Sept. 21.

With the score knotted 20-20 at the end of regulation, the Flyers had the first possession and scored on a 14-yard pass from Sloan to Luke Kush.

Cathedral scored on a 10-yard pass from Jack Pelzel in its ensuing possession, but the Crusaders' pass attempt for conversion failed.

Sloan, a senior running back, rushed 22 times for 93 yards and completed his only pass for the TD in overtime.

Little Falls opened the scoring on a 2-yard run by Sloan in the second before Cathedral took a 13-6 halftime lead on a pair of Pelzel TD passes.
