DULUTH -- Gabe Long recovered a blocked punt in the end zone and scored another touchdown on a 1-yard fumble recovery return for the Aitkin Gobblers who overpowered the Duluth Denfeld Hunters 58-0 in their season opener Thursday, Aug. 29.
Quarterback Kyle Cluff tossed scoring strikes of 12 yards to Manni Ukutegbe and 24 yards to Joey Simonson.
Rushing for Gobbler touchdowns were Owen Miller (10 yards), Jake Ince (34 yards), Carter Dox (27 yards) and Caiden Kjelstrom (5 yards)
