High School Football: Jevning Warriors' most valuable player

Senior running back/defensive back Allen Jevning was named most valuable player of the Brainerd Warriors football team at its banquet Monday night.

Jevning also made the All-North Central District and All-Section 8-5A teams and was voted the Warriors' offensive player of the year.

Senior linebacker Tristan Brecht made the all-district and all-section teams, was an all-district scholar athlete and was named Brainerd's defensive player of the year.
