THIEF RIVER FALLS-Zach Jorgens scored on runs of 6 and 2 yards to lead Pequot Lakes to a 28-7 win over Thief River Falls Friday, Oct. 12, in a Midwest Red Subdistrict game.
With the win, the Patriots moved to 4-3 overall while the Prowlers dropped to 0-7.
Trailing 7-0 in the first quarter, Jorgens got Pequot Lakes on the board with a 6-yard scamper, and his 2-yard burst in the second quarter gave the Patriots a 14-7 halftime lead.
Bode Magnuson and Cale Wolf each scored rushing touchdowns in the third quarter to make the final score 28-7.
