HOLDINGFORD-Reese Kapsner raced 50 yards to the end zone on the first play from scrimmage and the Pierz Pioneers never looked back in a 32-14 Mid-State Subdistrict 1 win over the Holdingford Huskers Friday, Sept. 7.
Kapsner also returned a punt 88 yards for a score and caught a 66-yard pass from Derek Schommer for another TD. Kapsner compiled 153 yards on 10 rushes for 74 yards and two receptions for 79 yards.
Preston Veith caught a 12-yard pass from Peter Schommer for a score and Alex Gross ran 2 yards for the Pioneers' final score late in the fourth quarter.
